Rosemary Tallent

Rosemary Tallent, age 84 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2019. Rosemary loved to play the piano and sing. She was very involved with her family and friends. She was very supportive of her husband’s ministry. She was preceded in death by husband Rev. Billie Joe Tallent, son Billy Marvin Tallent, parents Walter and Lucy Powell, sisters Frankie Perkins, Sue Riggs, and Margaret Peay, great granddaughter Kailey Sikes, and son-in-law Curtis Ward. She is survived by daughter Mitzi Tallent Ward, son David Tallent (Kathy), brothers Allen Powell (Reba), Walter Powell (Joyce), grandchildren Curtis Ward (April), Kimberly Sikes (Roger), Timothy Tallent, Heather Branch (David), great-grandchildren; Matthew, Kaitlynn, Cameron, Talan, Seth, and Audrey. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:45 am for a 12:00 pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Johnathan Tharpe and Rev. Ronnie Dotson with a procession to follow to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment.
