Roscoe “Buster” Lynn Hall Jr., age 73 of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. Buster was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served in the Vietnam War. He retired from Kroger after 16 years of dedicated service. Buster bowled for 60 years and was even inducted into the SMUSBC Hall of Fame. Preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Emma Hall; and sister Sandy Gonzalez. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Brenda Hall; son, Chris Hall; daughter, Nikki Hall; grandchildren, Bryson Hall and Nolan Hall; siblings, Veeta (Mike) Sharp, Michael Hall, Joy (Mike) Zack, and John (Lisa) Hall; many nieces and nephews; several special friends; and his dog Ginger. The family would like to give a special thanks to the 4th floor physicians and nurses at the Center for Advanced Medicine at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920, for a 10:00 am graveside service with full military honors presented by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
