Rondy Paul Brooks

Rondy Paul Brooks, age 78, of Halls, passed away peacefully at his home with family and friends on July 2, 2018. Rondy was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Halls. He is preceded in death by parents Howard and Lillie Brooks of Tazewell, TN; infant son Devan Brooks; and ex-wife Eilene Brooks. Rondy is survived by his wife Catherine “Cat” Brooks; sons Michael (Kathy) Brooks and Duran (Kris) Harmon; grandchildren Joshua Brooks, Wilson and Griffin Reagan, Addyson Harmon; brothers Donald Brooks, Hoye (Polly) Brooks; sister Wanda (Arnold) Ramsey; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, 2018, from 6:00-8:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Funeral service to follow with Rev. Andy Lynn officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 10:30am Saturday, July 7, 2018, and proceed to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for an 11:00am interment. Those serving as pallbearers are: Mike Brooks, Duran Harmon, Hoye Brooks, Don Brooks, Arnold Ramsey and Jonathan Tharpe. Those serving as honorary pallbearers are: Paul Brown, JR McMahan, Paul McMahan, Terry Tharpe, Matt McMahan, Kevin Ramsey, Greg Brooks, Jeff Tharpe, Zachary and Jacob McMahan, and grandchildren.
