Ronald "Ronnie" Pate

Ronald Samuel Pate, "Ronnie" age 66 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2017. He voluntarily enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was attached to the 1st Division and served a tour as a LCpl in the Vietnam war. He retired from K.A.T as a road supervisor. He was a member of Glen Oaks Baptist church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert William Pate and Alviena Armatine Wilson Pate; brother Jim Pate and son Ronnie Parton He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years Carol Heim Pate, son Chris (Jeni) Pate, daughter Angie (Rex) (Casey) Morrison, sister Ruby (Eugene) Jackson. Along with stepchildren, grandchildren and precious loved ones. Tuesday, June 6th from 5-7pm family and friends will be gathering at Mynatt Funeral Home 2829 Rennoc Road in Fountain City, TN (865)688-2331. Pastor Tony Hayes will be officiating the funeral service at 7pm. Wednesday, June 7th at 11:15am a graveside service will be held at The East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Hwy. military honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Online condolences may be shared at www.mynattfh.com.
