Ronald Gene Wallace, age 79, passed away March 31, 2017. Ronald was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He is the son of Elmo Barton Wallace and Mary Ellene Wallace of Halls Cross Roads. He graduated Halls High School in 1956 and worked for Ford Motor Company for 35 years then Came back to Knoxville after retiring to spend his last years on his award winning and progressive farming. Preceded in death by parents Elmo and Mary Wallace. He is survived by wife Georgean; daughter Tammy Wallace; step daughter Kelly Currel; step sons Brett and Ryan Lyden; grandchildren, Wallace Maxwell, Barry Wallace (Amanda), and Reagan Olivia; brother Robert Wallace (Kay); sister Judith Wallace. Service will be held Saturday 2pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will then proceed to Union Cemetery for interment. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to pat summit foundation for Alzheimer's, or plant a tree in his name. Family will receive friends 1-2pm Saturday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
