Ronald Emert Weisgerber

Ronald Emert Weisgerber, age 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep laying next to his sweetheart of 59 years, on Thanksgiving morning, November 24, 2022. Ronnie was born August 7, 1940, in Knoxville, TN to Everett and Vala Weisgerber. To know him was to love him. Ron graduated from Halls High School in 1959. He retired from Rohm and Haas after 36 years. Ron married Lavurn (Roach) in 1963. These two were each other's lifelong companions. He was a member of Fountain City Masonic Lodge # 557. Ron was a member of Union Baptist Church for 50 years where he served as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, and sang with the choir for many years. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lavurn Roach Weisgerber, children Scott Weisgerber (Stacy), and Kristi Adams (Todd); grandchildren: Morgan Weisgerber, Zach Weisgerber, Tanner Adams (Kristen), and Sawyer Adams; two great grandchildren: Brielle and Dakota. Sister-in-law: Grace Spears, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by father and mother, Everett and Vala Weisgerber and brother Williard Lewis. Friends and family will gather at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5 – 7 p.m. with service following at 7 p.m. officiated by Reverends Gary Vandergriff and Scott Weisgerber. The family will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 to proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be Tanner Adams, Sawyer Adams, Zach Weisgerber, Harvey Wright, Jack Wright, Doyle Johnson, Ralph Whitt, Rusty Spears, and Ronnie Spears..
