Ronald Edward Tipton, longtime warehouseman for Tindells Building Supply, passed away peacefully at home late Saturday, January 16th from complications of cancer surrounded by his family. He was 66 years old. Ronnie was a member of Myers Grove Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Big Ron enjoyed working in the yard and spending time on the farm. He beat everyone at any backyard game. His work ethic was difficult to match. Ron loved adventures with his family, and those adventures will not be the same without him. Ronnie’s heart was huge and would drop everything to help anyone. It was very seldom you did not see him in the color blue.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Deb; children: Misty and A.J. Caulineau, Shawna and Aaron Carroll and Daniel and Hannah Tipton; grandchildren: Aaron Carroll, Emily Caulineau, Emery Tipton and Teagan Staggs. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Eva Tipton and granddaughter Kiersten Caulineau.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday, January 21st, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at 8:00pm. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at noon on Friday, January 22nd. The family is requesting Thursday attendees to wear blue in celebration of Ron’s loving and serving heart.
Flowers are appreciated, but should friends desire, contributions may be given to help cover medical costs. Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
