Roger Lee Bivens

Roger Lee Bivens September 13, 1955 to September 12, 2021. Roger Lee Bivens, age 65 of Powell, TN went to be with the Lord September 12, 2021 at 4:31pm. He was a devout Christian and stood on God’s commandments and loved God with all his heart. His life was a great example for others to read. He was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend. He followed in his father’s footsteps and retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company at 43 years of service. He is preceded in death by beloved father Avory Lee Bivens, sister Charlotte Ann Johnson, and niece Cynthia Christina Bivens. He is survived by mother Vivian Bivens, brother Wayne Bivens, sister Darlene (Billy) Sharp, sister Marie (Rick) Miller, several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, as well as several great nieces and great nephews. He didn’t have children of his own, but was like a father to all. Family and friends will meet 12:15pm Friday, September 17, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel for procession to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for 1:00pm graveside service, officiated by Rev. Billy Baker and Billy Sharp.
