Roger "Hank" Shultz age 67 of North Knoxville, entered into Heaven to finally see his Savior face to face on Friday, October 14,2022 at Sacred Ground Hospice House. Known to everyone as "Hank", the "candy man" and Mr. Fix It, he was loved by all, especially children and animals. There was no one like him and he was always willing to help. Hank was one of the best carpenters. Once he met you, he would always call you by your name. Born and raised in Sevier County, he graduated from Sevier County High School and a member of Valley View Baptist Church. Hank trusted in the Lord at an early age, taught Junior Boys Sunday School Class, and always faithful to the Lord and his church. Preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Shirl Shultz, stepmother Ruby Shultz, Sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Max Posey, Sister-in-law, Rhonda Shultz, nephew, Matthew Posey and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Margie and Tommy Petty. Survivors, wife of 37 years, Cheryl Shultz, daughter, Courtney Shultz, Brother, Ernie Shultz, sister, Sue (Larry) Kear, nieces and nephews, Sandy Shultz, Brian Shultz, Andrew Shultz, Heather (Eli) Messer, Jonathan (Jennifer) Shultz, Audie (Mae) Kear, Alice (Mike) Elkins, Michael (Amy) Posey and Mark (Cody) Posey. Thank you to his special breakfast buddies: Lawrence, Odell, Freddie, Sheree, Jerry and Gloria, and his special little sweethearts at Valley View, Alijo, Bella and Callie Jo. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service Rev. Jared Shumate and Rev. Charlie Lynch officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City to leave in procession for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers; Aaron King, Brandon Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, Jeremy Mitchell, Mark Posey, Travis Peters and Freddy Daniels.
