Roger Earl Viles

Roger Earl Viles, age 67, passed away Tuesday peacefully at home after 2 and a half year battle with ALS. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by parents Thomas and Bessie Viles; brother Billy Joe. Survived by wife of 41 years Coda Viles; daughters Trina Viles and Beth Reneau; grandchildren Heather, Bret, Blakely, and Owen; brother Leon Viles and wife Sandy; sister Tommie Land. Service will be held 7pm Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Kendall Melton and Rev. Danny Buchanon officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery for 11am interment. Military honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
