Roger Basil Satterfield

Roger Basil Satterfield age 86 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U. S. Marine Corp. He was a deacon and faithful member of Sonlight Baptist Church, and worker and supporter of Halls Wellfare. He enjoyed spending time doing woodwork, farming, bowling, and being with his family. Preceded in death by parents; daughters; Teresa Renee and Vieanna Kay, previous wife; Shirley. Survivors; loving wife, Nedra Satterfield. Son; Greg Schmid. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Brother; Gerald Satterfield. Sister; Margie Huff, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Sonlight Baptist Church with funeral service to follow, Rev. Eddie Myers officiating.
