Rodney Lee King age 58 of Corryton passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Member of Corryton Church and Corryton Masonic Lodge #321 F & AM. Retired from K.U.B. as a lineman after 30 years. Graduate of Gibbs High School in 1981 and Rodney was an avid fisherman. One of Rodney’s greatest passion was his love for his family, he was a loving husband, father and son. Preceded in death by his father; Ronnie L. King. Survivors; wife of 37 years, Robbin (Atkins) King. Daughter and son-in-law; Jessica and Austin Hogle. Mother; Ruthie Brewer. Brothers; Bill (Tracy) King and Rocky King (Tammy Lawson). Nieces; Skylar King and Bryson Atkins. Nephews; Trevor King, Aaron Atkins and Ridge King. Mother-in-law; Barbara Atkins. Brother-in-law; Wayne (Robin) Atkins. Family and friends will meet 11:15 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel to leave in procession for a 12 noon graveside service at Union Cemetery (Washington Pike) Chaplain Jimmy Lopez officiating.
