Robin Delano Sweet

Robin Sweet (Sweetpea), age 71, of Halls Crossroads met Jesus on February 5, 2017. He peacefully passed away at the home of his daughter, Rose (Ernie) Cox. He attended Sharon Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Sweet; father and mother, Robert and Josina Sweet; sisters, Joann, Cindy, Marilyn, and step son Kenny. He is survived by daughter, Rose (Ernie) Cox; very special granddaughters, Lori and Sarah Cox; brothers, Bobby and John; sisters, Kentha (Toppy), Susie, Rosemary, Teresa, and Gail; special nephews, Gary and Jeff; step children, Lida Kay, RC, Charles, Bob, Jerry, and Elizabeth; many other step grandchildren; a host of lifelong friends, and his most favorite fishing buddy(“fish won’t wait!”) Cody Sweet (nephew). The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Dennis Blazier and Rev. Robert Holmes officiating. Pallbearers will be John (Cody), Bobby, Jeff, Gary, Bob, and Ernie. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Big Barren Cemetery, 414 Little Valley Road, Maynardville, TN for 11:00 am interment.
