Robert Matthew Filipek

Robert M. Filipek, age 78, of Knoxville, passed away November 11, 2013. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Camden, NJ. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and caregiver to his wife of 56 years. He was known for his devotion to his family and lively sense of humor. He was very proud of his Polish-American heritage. Preceded in death by parents, Victoria and Walenty Filipek; and son, Robert Filipek. Survived by wife, Elaine; sons, Gregory and wife Kathy, Stephen and wife Mary; grandchildren, Robert, Rachel, Diana, Nicole, Kristen and Julie; great-grandchild, Lauren. Family will receive friends 5-7pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
