Robert Lee Wolfenbarger

Robert Wolfenbarger, Jr., age 85, of Knoxville, passed in his sleep Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Preceded in death by parents, Lillian, and Robert Wolfenbarger Sr.; son, David Wolfenbarger; brother, Benny Wolfenbarger; brother-in-law, Stanley Lee. Robert is survived by wife of 45 years, Bonnie Wolfenbarger; son, Robert (Mary Christine) Wolfenbarger III; daughter, Caroline Wolfenbarger; grandchildren, Holly Picard, Callie Reagan; great grandchildren, Abby and Eli Picard; sister, Betty (Tommy) Wilson, William (Brenda) Wolfenbarger, Rebecca Lee, Brenda (George) Holcombe; numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am Monday, August 23, 2021 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Gov. John Sevier Hwy, for a 10:00 am service, East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard providing military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
