Robert Harris

Robert Harris age 84 of Powell went to be with the Lord Saturday March 29, 2014. Member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. He earned his Bachelors Degree from Tennessee Tech and a Masters Degree from University of Tennessee in civil engineering. He was retired from TVA and had also worked for FEMA. He was an avid fan of UT sports, especially Lady Vols Basketball. He enjoyed antiquing and gardening and was a caregiver for over 10 years to his wife. Survivors Wife of 41 years Marjorie Anne Norris Harris, Son Robert Harris Jr. and wife Delores, Daughter Jennifer McCloskey and Husband John, Son Tim Harris and Susan Zahnen, Son Jonathon Harris and wife Alana, Step son Jeff Frost and Wife LeeAnne, Step daughter Joanie Hodge and Husband Tommy, Step son Joe Ben Frost and Wife Karen. Grandchildren Sean and Andy McCloskey, Wesley and Logan Frost, Cara, Alex and Katie Hodge, Cole and Abbie Frost and Addie and Jamie Harris and Cindy and Kacie Fennell, Several Nieces and Nephews in California, Sister Juanita. Funeral Service will be 7 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Kent Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pat Summit Foundation. Private graveside services will be held. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
