Robert William Grubb Jr.

 Robert William Grubb Jr. passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024 with his family by his side. Robert was born in Knoxville, TN on March 1, 1956 and raised in Grainger, TN. He was an active member of his church, Atlantic Avenue Baptist and loved gospel music. God and his family were always the center of his life. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his daughter Barbara Whitaker; sons Jason Grubb (Veronica) and Stanely Grubb; brothers Danny Grubb, Glenn Grubb (Kristi) and Roger Grubb (Angela); nineteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife Jeanette, parents Lola and Robert “Dee” Grubb Sr., brothers Stanley, Lee, Charles, Michael and Billy.

A visitation will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel on Saturday, August 24 from 5-7 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will take place the following day at New Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, August 25 at 2:00 PM.
