Robert G. Brown Jr. age 75 of Knoxville passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at home. A member of Sheppard of the Hills Lutheran Church. Robert retired from Dupont after many years of service. He enjoyed volunteering and serving meals to the residents of Northgate Terrace. Preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Suzanne S. Brown and parents Robert G. Brown Sr. and Jane. Survived by his wife Carol Watson Brown; children Heather McCurry (Chris) and Chris Brown (Suzanne); grandchildren Shelby McCurry (Evan) and Sydney McCurry; brothers Paul Brown (Becky) and Jim Brown (Nancy); several nieces and nephews; special friends Cliff and Nickie Cunningham. The family will receive friends Friday, February 28, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel 4131 E. Emory Rd with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM officiated by Pastor Scott Henrich. Family and friends will meet Monday, March 2, 2020 at 12:45 PM for a 1:00 PM committal service at Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences for the Brown family may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
