Robert Earl Henson

Robert Earl Henson, age 77, of Knoxville, passed away April 8, 2016 at Beverly Park Place. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Efficient Electric with 40 years of service. Robert loved spending time with his many friends at the lake and loved to tell jokes. Waiting to be joyfully reunited are his parents, Mildred and Dude Henson; brothers, Gene and Pete Henson. Left to remember the good times, the laughter and the jokes are sisters, Bobbie (Joe) Johnson, Billie Joe Hefner, Wanda Cate, Connie (Jack) Ridenour, Joy Henson, Debbie Crippin; brothers, Jack (Etta) Henson, Benny (Gail) Henson, Tony (Vivian) Henson; other brother, Jim (Inez) Simpson; best bud, Mike Ridenour (nephew); special niece, Cammy Remo, special life-long friends, Carletta and Bill Haun; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 1:45pm Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for 2pm interment service. Family will receive friends 3-4:30pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow, Joe Johnson officiating.
