Robert David Irwin, age 46 of Andersonville, passed away due to an accident on August 4, 2013. Member of Andersonville United Methodist Church. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He found comfort in woodworking, carving and making fishing lures. Rob was a farmer and a fisherman at heart. He graduated from Anderson County High School in 1985. Preceded in death by cousin, Karen Irwin Erickson; grandparents, Glenn and Ruth Irwin, G. P. and Margaret Hobbs. Survived by wife, Sharon Gray Irwin; parents, David and Carolyn Irwin; sister, Anne Irwin Buhl; beloved niece, Katherine Buhl; uncle, John Rice Irwin; cousins, Ed and Elaine Irwin Meyer; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Norma Gray; sister-in-law, Shannon Gray; special friends, Robert Stooksbury, Ron Hatmaker, Mark Irwin and too many other friends to list. Funeral service 7:30 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Ken Abbott and Rev. Ralph Horak officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Norris Memorial Gardens for 11:00 am interment. Pallbearers: Mark Irwin, Tracy Humphrey, Tony Stooksbury, Scott George, Scott Foust, and Chuck Farmer Honorary Pallbearers: Ron Hatmaker, Chris Ridenour, Robert Mottern, Robert Stooksbury, Keith Sharp and the Country Club Bunch. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:30 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
