Robert Clarence Bailey

Robert Clarence Bailey (Bob), age 90 of Knoxville, TN, passed away to his heavenly home on February 28, 2022. He was born on April 27, 1931 in Lee County, VA; raised in Olinger, VA and Rutledge, TN. His parents, who preceded him in death, were Howard and Waive Bailey. He was also preceded in death by wife of 53 years Ruby Bailey (2008), daughter Linda Bailey (2020), grandson Freddy Saah (2020), sisters Ann Wise, Kathleen Fennel, Sue Krohn, and brother Howard Bailey. He is survived by daughter Susan (George) Saah, Sharon Young; grandchildren Charles Young, Kayla Young, Lauren Saah; great grandchildren Cadi Mae Dupes and Elijah Young; sister Betty Williams of Rutledge, TN; sisters-in-law Laura McNabb, Marie Bailey and Ethel Horner all of Morristown, TN; several nieces and nephews; very special friends Mary Jane Morgan, JT Morgan, Jerry Kennedy, Jeffrey Morgan, Brenda Morgan and her family. He was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church and also attended Shepherd of the Hill Church and was loved by both church families. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral to follow. Family and friends will then proceed to Asbury Cemetery for interment. Pastors Donnie McNabb, Leland Lyons and David Collins will officiate. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com
