Robert “Bobby” Allen Huddleston, age 66, departed this life July 22, 2016 at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida. Bobby graduated from Karns High School, Class of 1968. Upon graduating he entered the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He served one tour during which he attained the rank of Sergeant, E-4. He loved woodworking, scuba diving, and cowboy action shooting. He later obtained his dream of becoming a gunsmith while attending the Colorado School of Trades. He was preceded in death by parents Charles and Ruby Huddleston, brother Hugh L. Huddleston, and nephews Timothy Huddleston and Charles Thomas Huddleston. Survivors include son William J. Huddleston and wife Tiffany, daughter Tina L. Huddleston, mother of his children Pamela G. Huddleston, sisters Rebbecca Vineyard and husband James, and Betty Edmons and husband Henry, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A receiving of friends and memorial service will be held 6 pm, Thursday, August 25th at Glenwood Baptist Church, 7212 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN. Family and friends will gather 11:30 am, Friday, August 26th at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN for inurnment with full Military Honors.
