Rita Mayes Martin

Rita Mayes Martin, age 69, of Knoxville, TN went to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 6th, 2017. She was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church. Rita was preceded in death by parents Virgil and Mamie Mayes and grandmother Ila Tolliver. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Johnny Martin, children Kimberly (Chris) Wilson and Heather Bailey, grandchildren Zachary, Maria, Dylana, and Miley, sister Kathryn (Charles) Tallent, nieces and nephew Charlene, Susie, Laura, Charles and Angie, extended family and dear friends. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. committal service on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Gov. John Sevier Highway.
