Rita Marlene Roth

Rita Edgerton Roth passed away February 2, 2018 after a courageous 9 year battle with cancer. Rita loved the beach, the Washington Redskins and UT football and basketball. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren above all. Preceded in death by parents J.T. Edgerton and Hattie Edgerton; mother-in-law Carol Larson; and special friend Connie Kennedy. Left to cherish her memory are loving husband Jeff Roth; children Jordan (Courtney) Roth, Ricky (Bethany) Roth; grandchildren Holland and Austin Roth; loving constant companion Oreo; brothers Rayland, Randy (Chris), Ricky (Alice), and Robby (Judy) Edgerton; sister Rhonda Berube; step mother Elaine Edgerton; father-in-law Jeff (Glenda) Roth, Sr.; brother-in-law Randy (Jill) Roth; sister-in-law LeAnn (Greg) Bruce; 22 nieces and nephews; 17 grand nieces and nephews. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the UT Medical Center Cancer Institute, https://www.utmedicalcenter.org/giving/. A special thank you to Dr. Tim Panella, Ruth Borden, the staff of UT Medical Center Cancer Institute, and the many special friends that loved her through this life. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2PM Sunday February 18, 2018 at Bridgewater Place, 205 Bridgewater Rd. Knoxville, TN 37923, Rev. Scott Jackson officiating.
