Richard Julian Ensley

Richard Julian Ensley, Sr., age 71, of Knoxville TN, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Rick will always be remembered for his commitment and love for horses and his witty sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his son Richard Julian Ensley, Jr., his grandson Cody Ensley, Brothers Mike, Ron and Jan Ensley, Father Joe Ensley, and Mother Sudie Mills Ensley. The family is comforted in knowing there is a special reunion in heaven with his son Rick Jr. and grandson Cody. He is survived by his grandchildren Andrew Julian Ensley and Brittney Nichole Finchum (Ensley); great grandchildren Katelyn and McKenzie Finchum; Nephews Kevin Ensley (wife Leisa), Eddie Ensley, Jeff Ensley, Chip Ensley, Mark Ensley, Matt Ensley; Great Nephew Blake Ensley; Great Niece Bailey Ensley, several other great nieces and nephews; long time best friend Eric Jackson; and many special friends and neighbors from the farm whom he loved dearly. Rick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special memorial and celebration of life will be held at a later date. In Rick’s own words: “If He calls, I’m ready.
