Richard Douglas Grace

Richard “Waldo” Douglas Grace, age 48 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. He enjoyed spending time with his family and with the girl scout troop. Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Elma Grace, Floyd and Rose Barnes, and Larry and Charlotte Humphrey. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Misti Grace; daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth; Parents, Bennie and Barbara Buchanan and Ronald and Betty Grace; brothers, Ben Adam Buchanan and Joe Buchanan; sisters, Jessica Ordonez and Melissa Koelper; sisters-in-law, Amy May, Amanda (Traye) Cook and Katie (Nick) Hill; brother-in-law, David Humphrey; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers honored to serve the Grace family include Joe Buchanan, Shawn Shelton, Nick Hill, Traye Cook, Dylan Cook, and Joey Bell. Family will receive friends from 5:00pm-8:00pm Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 8:00pm, Tony Hayes officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00pm Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel to leave in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00pm graveside service.
