Richard Dix Turner

Richard Dix Turner, age 84, of Knoxville TN, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Richard worked as a mechanical engineer at Robertshaw Controls for thirty-eight years. Richard was a member of Faithway Baptist Church. Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Louise; five children: Dawn (David) Hankins, Diane (Greg) Ward, Darlene (David) Counts, David (Alana) Turner, and Deborah (Jason) Drum; eleven grandchildren: Sara Ward, Mollie (Joe) Pallo, Rachel Hankins, Hannah (Andrew) Kubas, Sharon Counts, Landon Turner, Emily (Brady) Nelms, Isaac Counts, Nathan Turner, Andrew Counts, and Ashleigh Turner; three great-grandchildren. Family and friends may visit Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at their convenience on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 between 10:00-5:00PM.
