Richard Charles Goforth

Richard Charles Goforth, age 54, of Knoxville, entered eternal rest December 20, 2013 at his home. Rick had a great passion for music, was a talented guitarist, and enjoyed singing for the Lord. He loved to travel and explore lighthouses. He was often found in the company of his pet. He appreciated the art of cooking. His life modeled strength, patience, humility and unconditional love. He was very self-sacrificing, as was evident in his hard work and helping hand. He leaves his wife of 16 years, Beverly, and a host of loving family and friends. Funeral service 7pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 1:30pm Tuesday and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for 2pm graveside service. Family will receive friends Monday 5-7pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
