Rhonda L. Turnmire

Rhonda L. Turnmire, age 50, of Knoxville, passed away December 21, 2017. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her family was her pride and joy in life and spent much of her time serving them and others. Rhonda was a 1985 graduate of Halls High School and a member of Bishopville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ron & Darlene Gatewood; brother, Jimmy Gatewood; mother-in-law, Joyce Turnmire. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Brent Turnmire; daughter, Brittany Turnmire; sister, Cheryl Boles and husband Bruce; nephew, J. T. Freels; niece, Katie Freels; father-in-law, J. C. Turnmire; brother-in-law, Todd Turnmire and friend Libby Seal. The family would like to say a special thank you to Beaverdale Baptist Church and Bishopville Baptist Church for their prayers and support, and also to Tennova Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bishopville Baptist Church, 9507 Depot Street, Heiskell, TN 37754. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with service to follow at 8:00 pm. Rev. Ed Bowne and Rev. Randy Webb will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:00 am.
