Reverend Ernest David Drinnon

Reverend Ernest David Drinnon, age 70, of Knoxville, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 31,2022. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years Wilma Drinnon; parents, James and Thelma Drinnon; brothers Ronal and Curt Drinnon. He is survived by children, Elena (Brian) Weaver, Matthew Drinnon, Brandi Hilton and Ezekiel (Jessica) Drinnon; grandchildren, Daniel and Noah Weaver, Madison Weaver and her fiancé Charles Harris, David Hilton, Ashley and Jacob Drinnon, McKinlee and Elijah Drinnon; brothers and sisters, Naomi Drinnon, Trula Greene, Dennis (Sue) Drinnon, Joann (Ralph) Pike, Mary (Muhammed) Ali, Larry Drinnon, Lonnie Drinnon, Thelma Drinnon, Jerry Drinnon; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Mildred Hopson; special friend, Marilyn Carr Hurst. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with the funeral service to be held at 7:00 pm with Rev. James Webber and Rev. Chris “Red” Beeler officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the funeral home for a procession to Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery for a 10:00 am graveside service.
