Reba Mae Johnson

Reba Mae Johnson, 77 of Knoxville, joined the angels on Sunday, January the 24th at Fort Sanders Hospital. This beautiful angel was born on February 10th, 1943. She is the daughter of John and Margie Hensley of Knoxville, TN. She is preceded in death by daughter Patrisha Soloman of Greenvillle. She is survived by Raymond Johnson of Knoxville, daughter Rhonda Williams of Knoxville, sons Ricky (Minnie) Johnson of Corryton, and Steve (Brenda) Johnson of Powell, sister Rachel Phillips of Jefferson City, brothers LeRoy Hensley of Luttrell, and Jimmy Hensley of Knoxville. Reba has several grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids that will miss her deeply. Reba had the voice of an angel and enjoyed singing with her sister, Rachel, and her husband, J.R., in a group they called Glory Bound. Singing for the Lord brought her joy. Anyone who met her never forgot her. She had a way of leaving her beautiful mark on people. She also enjoyed the simple things in life. One of her favorite things to do was to sit on the couch and look out the window, watching the hummingbirds. She always made sure she kept those feeders full. What a beautiful soul the Lord called home. You will be greatly missed, and we love you always.
