Raymond W. Converse

Raymond W. Converse, age 76, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on June 12, 2021, after a four year battle with cancer. He was an avid reader, writer, and the author of five published books. He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. His favorite people call him “Grandpa”. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Jane Converse, and his sisters, Nancy and Rosslyn. He is survived by his wife, Linda Converse, his four children, Rene (Jeff) Ritsema, Tony (Tiffany) Converse, Bill (Yulia) Converse, and Aaron “Boo” (Gina) Converse, his brother, Elroy Converse, and seven grandchildren, Syd, Quinn, Gardy, Andy, Max, Aaron, and Zoe. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the COPD Foundation.
