Ray Gresham age 44 of Maryville, formerly of Knoxville passed away August 30, 2015. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked for Hunt Brothers Pizza. He was an avid bowler, loved U.T. Volunteers, Denver Broncos and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a loving son, husband, brother, dad and poppy. He brought joy to all he encountered, lived life to the fullest and appreciated every day. He never met a stranger. He was looking forward to meeting his grandson Brantley Ray in October. Preceded in death by parents, Edith and Edgar Gresham, brother Floyd Gresham and sister Sandra Hurst. Survivors, wife Gina Gresham, children Michael Dean Gresham, Shaina Gresham, Dylan Gresham, step-daughters Jessica and Katie Simerly, granddaughter Kymberlee Gresham, sisters and brothers-in-law Phyllis and Rickey Stacy, Lisa and Jerry Burrell and Tanya and Michael Geames, brothers and sisters-in-law Jerry and Brenda Gresham and Buster and Jane Gresham, father and mother-in-law Jim and Glenda Murrell, sister-in-law Jama Smith, several nieces nephews and a host of friends. Service 8 pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Pastor Patrick Sutherland officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:30 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for interment service at 1pm. Pallbearers: Frankie Gresham, Chris Kesterson, Chase and Michael Geames, Jerry Burrell and Zach Halvorsen. Honorary pallbearers: Michael and Dylan Gresham and Jim Murrell. Family will receive friends 5 to 8 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
