Raymond Lester Mcginnis

Raymond Lester McGinnis Jr. age 60 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2020. He was a Mason and Shriner with Kerbela Temple; an ordained minister who loved to bowl on the Monday night church league; and a member of New Victory Baptist Church. Raymond was a gentle soul who would give you the shirt off of his back. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Lester McGinnis Sr.; wife Eva McGinnis; sisters Sherlene Hammond, Irene Burger, and Judy Roberts; step-daughter Brittney Radar; and many nieces and nephews who have gone on before him. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Yvonne Radar; mother Beulah McGinnis; daughter Regina Morton; son Raymond Lester McGinnis III (Jennifer “aka-his favorite daughter-in-law); step-sons Brad and Darrin Radar; and more nieces and nephews than we could count. A receiving of friends will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with the service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Russell Sharp Jr. and Brother Roger McClain officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home at 2:15 PM on Friday, February 14, 2020 for a procession to Bethany Cemetery.
