Raymond Kelley Kennedy

Raymond “Ray” Kelley Kennedy departed this life Friday, July 31, 2020 unexpectedly at the age of 40 years old while working at a job he loved. No matter the woes he had, he always found something to love about everything he did. He was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents, Carol and Phyllis Halpin, and paternal Papaw, Otis Kyle Kennedy, cousin, Danny Sprehe, and Uncle Tom Halpin. He is survived by his Mother; Janet Kennedy, Father and step mom; Ben and Amy Kennedy, Sisters; Andrea Lawrence and Jeneane Stomm, Brother; Kyle Kennedy II, Paternal mamaw; Marie Kennedy, a niece and several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Additionally, throughout his journey on this earth, Ray shared his life with many who are his spiritual family and friends, they too, are feeling such a void with his passing. We all can be at peace knowing Ray knew the Lord and is now in a much better place. He loved his church family, FUSE Church, his family and friends. He will be missed on this earth, but we are celebrating the fact that he is finally free! The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service to follow with memories from family and friends.
