Raymond E. Gass

Raymond “Ray” E. Gass, Jr., age 37 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord September 22, 2021. He had the most contagious laugh and a huge heart. He was loved by many. Preceded in death by father Raymond E. Gass, Sr. and grandparents Easter and Leonard Long. Survived by loving mother Jennie “Peanut” Gass, brother Jamie Gass, fiancé Melanie Goddard, daughters Shayla Ann and Mahala Rae Gass, nieces, Courtney and Mia Gass, grandmother Viola Gass, half-sister Kimberly Sutton, several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Monday, September 27, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow at 7:00pm, Pastor Howard Pannell officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 28, 2021, for a procession to Caledonia Cemetery for an 11:00am interment.
