Randy L. Neubert

Randy L. Neubert, age 71 of Corryton, passed away January 14, 2022. He was a member of Rutherford Memorial United Methodist Church and the Corryton Masonic Lodge. He was retired from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Fleet Division. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, as well as a steadfast friend. Randy was well known for his depth of knowledge about auto parts, auto mechanics, plus his love of poker & cruises. It was his common sense about a broad range of life’s everyday occurrences, tenacity and down-to-earth sense of humor, which set him apart from most. Preceded in death by parents Sam and Mary Lou Neubert and brother Steve Neubert. Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Cathy Neubert, daughter and son-in-law Crista and Scott Cooke, grandchildren Wyatt and Macy Cooke, brother Dennis (Jane) Neubert, mother-in-law, Ula Rae Mynatt, special friend Joe Longmire, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow. Rev. Joe Phillips and Rev. Steve Doyal officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Mynatt Cemetery in Luttrell for an 11:00am interment. The family expresses thanks to the pallbearers: nephews Lucas Neubert, Spencer Neubert, Alex Neubert, Chris Neubert, and life-mentees Erik Longmire and Shane Estes.
