Randall Byrd

Randall Byrd, 60 of Knoxville passed away quietly on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Randall worked at Sam & Andy’s Restaurant in Farragut for many years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Captain, sister, Connie Captain and brother Darrell Byrd. Randall is survived by a step-father, George Captain; sister, Brenda Captain; brothers, John and Chris Captain and Steve Byrd. Additional survivors include his two sons, Mark and Joe Byrd and two dear friends, Lester Fayland and Kenny Neff. A Celebration of Randall’s Life will be held Monday, April 17th , 7 pm with The Rev. Robert Lay officiating at Mynatt Funeral Home 2829, Rennoc Road in Knoxville (865) 688-2331. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm on Monday prior to the service.
