Ralph Simpson Welsh

Ralph Welsh, 89, of Knoxville passed away on July 1 at home surrounded by his loving family. Bud is now wrapped in the comforting arms of those who pre-deceased him; his wife, Norma, son, Daniel, and grandson, Eric Jaskiewicz. Bud was a dad, granddad, GG, uncle and brother and friend. His children are Deborah Struble, wife of Thomas, Sheila Frees, and Gregory, husband of Ethel. Bud’s eyes would light up whenever he saw his grandchildren and greats. His grandchildren are Jamie McGar, Peter Yeapple, husband of Sarah, Natalie Jaskiewicz, Emily Struble Woods, wife of Nicholas, Jennifer Welsh Matthews, wife of Zackery, Thomas Struble, Evan Jaskiewicz, Raquel Welsh, Michelle Welsh Woods, wife of Ian, and Marissa Frees. Greats are Evelyn Holland, Zackery Matthews, Mikyla Matthews, Elyse Gaylor, Maddox McGar and Abigail Yeapple. Sisters are Rhoda Daniels, Carol Luther (pre-deceased), and Mary Ellen Seabolt. Too many to list family members and friends who will miss Bud’s smile and laughter. A celebration of life will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 2:00-4:00pm with a service to follow at 4:00pm. Interment will be at a later date so that Bud can be laid to rest with his wife and son in New York.
