Ralph Lynn Leopper

Ralph “Lynn” Leopper, age 74, of Knoxville, passed away April 14, 2013. He was of the Baptist Faith. Lynn retired as General Sales Manager for WBIR after 37 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, touching and helping many people throughout his life. Preceded in death by parents, Dutch and Bertie Leopper; brothers, Charles, Gary and Edward Leopper. Survived by wife of 54 years, Mary Langley Leopper; son and daughter-in-law, David and Renee Leopper; daughter, Misty Leopper; granddaughters, Stacey Leopper, Crystal Leopper and Danielle and Chris Lay; great granddaughter, Taylor Lay; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Richard Nicely officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for interment at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Roy Southers, Gene Hunter, Bobby Henegar, Perry “Pug” Moyers, Steve Foster, and Lee Benedetti. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 22072, Knoxville, TN 37933. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
