Ralph Lewis Jackson age 91, Fountain City departed this earth to his heavenly home Saturday, February 27, 2021.He is dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate his victory and reunion with his wife, Betty; married 62 years. He was a devoted family man devoted friend to many. He was a good shephard and firm believer of Jesus Christ. He touched so many lives and was an inspiration to all. Survived by daughters, Becky Buckner, Sheila (Bruce) Arden, grandchildren, Clint (Jessica) Buckner, Allison Ford, Brock (Amanda) Arden, Lauren Arden; great grandchildren Grace and Chace Ford, Madison and Mac Buckner, Willow and Harbor Arden, Oaklyn Stepp; sister, Patsy Ellis, brothers Cecil and David Jackson and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents George and Lucille Jackson, siblings Dorothy McKinney, Larry Jackson, Richard Jackson, Joe Jackson, and son-in-law, Stan Buckner. Ralph served in the United States Navy on the USS H.J. Ellison, retired from Container Corp/West Rock after 45 years of employment. He was an avid antique car nut, former member of the Smokey Mtn Model A Club and a member of North Acres Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 4, 2021` from 5:00-7:00PM at North Acres Baptist Church, 5803 Millertown Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924. The funeral service will follow at 7:00PM with William Purvis and Charlie Lynch officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11:45AM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 12noon graveside service. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.mynattfh.com.
