Rachel Mae Headrick

June 24, 1928 — March 31, 2020

Rachel Mae Headrick, of Halls, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Dante Baptist Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star, Star Lite Chapter #463. She retired from DeRoyal Industries. Rachel worked for many years at Governor’s Skating Rink. Preceded in death by her parents George and Lela Maddox, brothers Robert Maddox and Frank Maddox. Survived by daughter Teresa Headrick, “special son” Danny Jones, sister Edna Carr, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at their convenience between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm Friday, April 3, 2020, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. A private funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/hallslivestream/.
