Phyllis S. Parrott

Parrott, Phyllis S. age 92, of Knoxville TN passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. Her love and passion was painting as an artist. Preceded in death by her husband Gene Parrott. Parents; Icie and Burtle Smith, Brother Richard Smith. Survived by daughter Greta (Wayne) Stooksbury of Knoxville, Sons; Mike (Dottie) Parrott of Knoxville, and John (JoAnn) Parrott of Nashville. Grandchildren; Scott (Shelley) Stooksbury, Mark (Melody) Stooksbury and Lindsay Ross/Cate, Great-Grandchildren; Jonah, Clay, Dylan, Katelyn, and Brayden Stooksbury, and Canon and Concad Cate. Brother; John (Beverly) Smith of Ohio, sister-in-law; Lucy Smith, as well as several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Renaissance Terrace and Ben Atchley State Veterans Home. Thank you to special friend Faye Northern and caregiver Carolyn Monroe. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 P.M. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:30 P.M. Dr. James McCluskey and Rev.
