Phyllis Kaye Epps

Phyllis Kaye Epps, age 69 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at North Knox Medical Center. She was a CNA for many years at Brakebill Nursing Home and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kyle Columbus Cooper. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Kylena (Anthony) Daniels; sons, James Sexton and Christopher Cooper; grandchildren, Destin Cook, Casey Cook, and Shelby Stow; and special friend, Kathy Smith. A receiving of friends will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 with a service to follow, Pastor Jack Walker officiating. Friends and family will meet on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 2:45PM to go in procession to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for a 3:30PM graveside service. Pallbearers include Dustin Cook, Anthony Daniels, Daniel Akers, Richard Daniels, Josh Akers, Matt Daniels, and James Jarnigan.
