Phyllis Joan Spradling

Phyllis Munsey Spradling, age 74 of Knoxville, TN gained her wings August 13, 2021 after a six-year battle with multiple illnesses. Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving husband Tony Spradling, granddaughter Jaelyn Collins, her dear parents Norma Jean Spurling and Daniel Spurling, her precious grandparents Marietta Miller and Mannie Miller, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Phyllis leaves behind her sons Shane Munsey and Bruce Tackett, her precious grandchildren: Nikki (RJ) Delfino, Taylor (Amber) Munsey, Gabe (Carry) Collins, and Caytee Tackett, her great-grandchildren: Lakota, Leo, Scoot, Makenna, Bruce, Emmett, Coraline, Waylon, Penelope, special uncle and aunt John and Anna Ruth Morris, special friends, Patricia White, Jean Pope, Shirley Munsey, and Johnny Mitchell. Phyllis is an extremely loved mother, Grammy, Great Gram, aunt, niece and friend. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to proceed to East TN State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway, for a 2:00 PM interment.
