Phillip Earl (Butch) Claiborne went to be with the Lord, at home, surrounded by loved on August 25, 2013. Preceded in death by parents Wilbur W. Claiborne and Gladys R. Dallas (Weaver) Claiborne. Survived by wife, Charlotte Dyer Claiborne, children: Michelle and husband Harold Watts, Phillip Claiborne Jr., Christopher and wife April Robinson; siblings, Bill and wife Jenny Claiborne, Mary Francis and husband Earl Mayes, Becky and husband James Allen Flatford, Phyllis Pointon, Rick and wife Christina Claiborne, grandchildren: Christina and husband Travis Bratten, Christopher Bratten, Zachary and wife Renee Monday, Destiny Claiborne, great-grandchildren, Cayleigh, Lanie, Chase, Ely, and a host of nieces and nephews. Also, special friends Ronnie Taylor, Donnie Pittman, and Eddie Bailey. Service will be 8pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Earl Mayes and Rev. Tommy Gass officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
