Phillip Alan Clifton

Phillip Alan Clifton, age 64, of Knoxville, passed away March 6, 2015. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden since 1993. He was preceded in death by parents, Paul & Dorothy Clifton; father-in-law, Delmar Haynes; nephew, Scott Dean. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Becky Clifton; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie & Justin Studer; brothers and sister-in-laws, Paul & Gail Clifton and Tim & Lisa Clifton; sister and brother-in-law, Laura & Don Sheley; aunt, Joann Adkins; mother-in-law, Joyce Haynes; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie & Gary Dean; sister-in-laws, Robin Haynes, and Beverly Clifton; best friend, Skip Weaver; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Shangri La Therapeutic Academy of Riding, 11800 Hwy 11E, Lenoir City, TN 37772. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 6pm at Central Baptist Church of Bearden with Dr. Wade Bibb officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
