Philip Edward Preston

Lt. Philip E. Preston, Jr., 61 of Knoxville went home to be with his Lord Thursday, November 17, 2016. He was born February 23, 1955 to the late Philip Sr. and Harriett Cowart Preston. He is also preceded in death by Eileen Needham. Philip was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church, a member of Burlington Lodge # 32 F&AM, and a Lieutenant with Knox County Sheriff’s Office. Philip is survived by his loving wife Arlene, sisters Phylis Preston and Jenny Kogelman, brother Joe and wife Susan Preston, and nephews Jonathan Kogelman and Joshua Preston. The funeral service will be held 9:30 AM Wednesday, November 23rd at Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church, 4615 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37914 with Reverend Mark McKeehan officiating. Interment at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery will follow the services. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 22 from 5-7 PM at the Church prior to the service.
