Philip Douglas Young

Philip “Big Phil” Douglas Young, Sr., age 46, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Tennova Turkey Creek. He was born February 25, 1973 in Knoxville Tennessee. Preceded in death by his mother Shirley Jane Young; grandmother and papaw Beeler. He loved to hunt, fish, and enjoy the great outdoors. Philip will be greatly missed by so many but will forever live on in our hearts. God says “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in god; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you”. Survived by son Philip Young; daughter Miranda Young; grandchildren Alliah and Gracie; and many special friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for funeral expenses. On behalf of the Young family, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your sweet messages, continuous prayer, and generous donations. None of this would be possible without the help from our loved ones, our friends, and our community. We want to thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts for your sincere condolences.
