Perry Frank Browning

Perry Frank Browning Jr., age 70, went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 15, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Lucent Technologies with over 30 years of service. He was also a member of Union Baptist Church on Maynardville Highway. Perry’s love for Patsy, his family and friends were evident to all those that knew him. Preceded in death by parents, Perry and Nellie Browning; sister, Shirley Noland. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Patsy Richardson Browning; sons, Bart (Shanna), and Chad (Janelle); daughter, Nicole (Cory) Nicholson; grandchildren, Katherine and Pierce Browning, Jonah and Korbin Sheckles; sisters, Donna Emory (David), Jannie Swatzson (Charlie), Karen Williams (Dave) and Teresa Percival (Marty); brother, Gregory Browning; sister-in-law, Sharon Blake (Jerry Loy); brothers-in-law, Harry (Judy) Richardson and Ronnie Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Thursday May 18, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Ronald E. Mouser officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:15 am, Friday, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:30 am.
